Laboratory Development TOR

Laboratory Development Terms of Reference (TOR) of the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta are prepared as a guide for planning, implementing, and developing laboratory facilities to support education, research, and community service. Laboratory development aims to improve the quality of practical facilities and infrastructure and to support practice-based learning relevant to developments in engineering science and technology. Through these TOR, the laboratories are expected to be managed in a focused, effective, and sustainable way, from planning equipment needs and procuring facilities to optimal use of the laboratories by lecturers and students. Laboratory development is also directed at improving student competence, supporting lecturers' research, and strengthening partnerships with educational institutions, industry, and other relevant bodies. In this way, the laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Islam Batik Surakarta can serve as centres of practical learning and innovation that produce competent, professional graduates ready for the challenges of the world of work.
