Informatics

The Informatics Study Programme of Universitas Islam Batik (UNIBA) focuses on software engineering and digital marketing based on the Entrepreneurial University model and on applying Islamic values, aiming to produce IT professionals who are principled, innovative, and nationally competitive through mastery of software engineering, research, and solution-oriented community service.

1. To provide quality, principled, fair, and competitive software engineering education based on Islamic values.

OBJECTIVES

1. To produce graduates with quality competences in software engineering and digital marketing who are principled, fair, and competitive based on Islamic values.
2. To develop and produce works and innovations in engineering, social sciences, arts, and culture that contribute to the advancement of science, technology, and the arts.
3. To contribute to improving the quality and welfare of society by disseminating science, technology, and the arts.
4. To achieve study-programme governance based on continuous improvement.
5. To build regional pentahelix collaboration that supports the Tri Dharma of higher education.

PL-1 Software Engineer
Graduates have the technical ability to design, build, implement, and maintain software, collaborating on software engineering to produce innovation.

PL-2 Database Administrator
Graduates are able to contribute to professional practice by solving business-process problems with informatics, integrated with Islamic and national values.

PL-3 Data Analyst
Professionals capable of decision-making, leadership, and teamwork grounded in noble character, who adapt quickly to the industrial environment.

PL-4 Digital Technopreneur
Professionals in technology-based business who help build a knowledge-based economy and create jobs.

Research and Community Service in the Faculty of Engineering is an integral part of the Tri Dharma of higher education, focused on developing science, technology, and applied innovation. Through continuous research and collaborative community service, Faculty of Engineering lecturers actively respond to the needs of industry and society while creating solutions with real and lasting impact.
